This Is Your Friendly Cosmic Reminder:
You Can Have Whatever You WANT!
By Rocky BerlierSeriously, what is it you want in life? Love, money, a new car, a new house, a job? Well, whatever it is, I’m here to tell you that you will have it! That’s right. It will be yours. You can count on it!
The only thing required of you for this miraculous fulfillment is that you truly have to want it. The emphasis, of course, is on the word “want” because “wishing” is basically neutral energy to the universe. This is worth repeating; “wishing” is passive or static energy to the universe. In fact, it maybe worse than that since each “wish” contains a silent negative affirmation about what you don’t have. For example, saying, “I wish I had...” (fill in the blank) is secretly emphasizing the negative of what you don’t have.
Although both wishing and wanting are connected to the same emotion of desire, there is a significant distinction between them. Wishing is neutral because of the conflicted emotions. Truly “wanting” something connects us to our passions and desires. It affirms the strength of our emotional commitment to these desires. The universe happily responds accordingly. This is active universal energy.
However, for any of this to work we need to put it “out there” to the universe in a “concrete” form. Just thinking about it (even strongly) is usually not enough in itself. Thoughts are important, don’t get me wrong. After all, we ultimately become what we constantly think about. However, when thoughts are rambling, chaotic and jumping from one idea to the next, they carry with them the variety of conflicting emotions that created them. Until we focus them into a single organizing purpose, the universe will ignore them as passive and energy-neutral fluff! To become “concrete,” your wants are more powerful when written-down or spoken out loud for the universe to respond.
You also need to be sure that you aren’t in emotional conflict with yourself. As mentioned above, when your thoughts are chaotic, the universe sees them as neutral. The positives and negatives will cancel each other out. This means that you need to become “clear” from your emotional baggage to be as effective as you can in manifesting your desired life.
Emotions are very powerful things. Indeed, think of your emotions as the fuel that powers the creation of your life. Emotions give power to our thoughts and our thoughts in-turn give power to our actions. Certain emotions can make us “stuck” and unable to move forward. Fear and anger are two strong ones.
To illustrate this, think about the times in your life when you’ve been fearful or angry and how difficult it was to get past these emotions. Likewise, think about how you got “unstuck” from either of these through emotions such as joy, acceptance, and love. It’s interesting, isn’t it, how these strong emotions on opposite sides can counter-act each other. This is what we need to do to become “clear.” Replace all the buried negative emotions of our past with their positive counter-parts.
The enormously successful book and movie “The Secret” was very popular in 2007. Now, here it is two years later and, sadly, few people are applying the principles presented there. What an incredible shame this is when the information provided in this material is both profound as it is timeless.
The Law of Attraction is real and the methods of activating it are just as valid today as they were thousands of years ago. I encourage all of you who were once inspired by this amazing book and movie to read or watch it again. Numerous times! I think you will be inspired once again to put these amazing principles into action.
Heavens knows, we all need this kind of energy and thinking right now. Honestly, I cannot think of a time in history where this information was needed more than right now! Everywhere we turn we hear about the negatives in the world. The news media has taken our most negative and fearful thoughts and are reflecting them back to us. We all need to break this cycle and change our negative thoughts and beliefs into positivity, optimism and gratitude.
Yes, gratitude is the greatest tool we have to break patterns of negative thinking. The pattern recognition ability of our mind becomes acutely sensitive to how we habitually use it. If we use it to recognize only negative things, then all we see and attract are negatives. Gratitude is the switch that can reverse this bad habit and uplift your heart and mind to stellar levels of inspiration and joy. Take inventory of the good in your life and don’t dwell on the negative.
Indeed, the best thing we can all do right now is to turn off the TV and radio as well as stop reading the newspapers! Start listening to music which lifts your spirits and makes you want to dance. Listen to audios or watch dvds of inspiring people and stories. Read books that inspire you to positive action. Take classes or workshops that enlighten and help you to stay focused on your “want.” Join clubs or groups that affirm the positives in your life and where you want it to go. Surround yourself with people who resonate with this positive intention.
