Dick Sutphen has been one of the pioneers and prominent figures on the New Age frontier since the 1970s. With his successful company, Valley Of The Sun Publishing and the great successes of his books, he has established himself as a distinctive leader among the thinkers, philosophers and teachers of the human potential movement today.
Tara Sutphen is the author of, Blame It On Your Past Lives, as well as the two audio tape series: Metaphysical Meditations and Sleep Programming. She is a specialist in the psychic sciences, including automatic writing, palmistry, and esoteric astrology.
Tara has written articles about the psychic sciences for national women’s magazines such as American Woman and Woman’s Own. Her tapes are among the most popular in the Valley of the Sun line. She has often used automatic writing to assist her husband in his research as is evidenced in Dick’s books, Earthly Purpose (Pocket Books) and With Your Spirit Guide’s Help (Valley of the Sun, 1998). Her “Cause & Effect” column is a regular feature in Soaring Spirit magazine.
The Sutphen Seminars were first conducted in Scottsdale in 1976, in response to the tremendous interest in Dick’s book, You Were Born Again To Be Together. The book went on to sell a million copies and remained in print for 22 years.
