In November 1995 the CIA admitted to its role in sponsoring a top-secret U.S. psychic intelligence program called Stargate and the term “Remote Viewing” (RV) was hoisted on the American public. For nearly 20 years, under several project names, the government used “psychic spies” to remotely view people, places and events that could not be reached by any other intelligence method.
The term “Remote Viewing” originally referred to a specific laboratory protocol for the experimental testing of ESP. This method broke with the established “forced choice” method of testing — such as Zener cards — and allowed the subject free reign to describe or sketch a distant target as s/he perceived it.
In the early 1970’s, the Stanford Research Institute backed by U.S. government funding, was on the forefront of work with Remote Viewing. For over ten years they worked with natural psychics, studying the intricacies of how they were able to do what they do. Out of this work came a breakthrough learning model for psychic functioning, a method to teach people how to be psychic.
After this, “Remote Viewing” meant something more exciting as it became a trainable mental skill whereby anyone could extract accurate and detailed information from locations distant in space-time.
In 1984, the first prototype team of U.S. intelligence officers was trained in this new skill. They went on to become the backbone of the U.S. military Remote Viewing Unit at Fort Meade, MD. They continued to improve the RV protocols and conducted psychic spying operations on the Soviet Union, hostage situations, drug cartels, terrorists and surveillance on other foreign nations.
In 1989, the first military remote viewer to come into the private sector was the Operations and Training Officer of the unit, Major Edward Dames. For the first time, Remote Viewing instruction became available to the public. With that came an evolution of Remote Viewing and how it was used.
Common Uses Of Remote Viewing Today
• Determining optimum careers, mates, and geographic locations.
• Identifying individuals’ emotions, mind-states and intentions.
• Identifying key income-producing activities.
• Determining price movements of stocks, winners of sporting events and picking winning lottery numbers.
Remote Viewing today is a powerful skill in the minds of the few professionals in the U.S. The tools of their trade go by terms such as “timelines” “vectors,” “mind probes,” “relational diagrams,” “deep mind probes,” to name a few. But you need not commit to the profession to become highly skilled. Many part-time RV’ers are succeeding in areas of interest to them including one of the fastest growing areas — generating income.
The prospective remote viewer today must wade through an Internet full of claims and half-truths in a search for a competent instructor. Perhaps the best course of action is to learn from the original RV masters or as close as possible to them as you can. If you have the opportunity to learn from a member of the original military RV team then do so. After that, consider the best of their students.
As exciting as the prospect of learning RV is, it is an unspoken axiom in Remote Viewing that what you can do with remote viewing is not as important as what you become as a remote viewer.
On October 26-27 we are pleased to offer a certification course in Remote Viewing at Vision Quest. This is a 2-day certification course in Basic Remote Viewing with an introduction and practice in Intermediate Remote Viewing. Day 2 will also include practical application of Remote Viewing towards generating income.
Upon completion, students will know and perform the basic mechanics and structure that are the foundations of successful remote viewing and have the skills and tools to continue remote viewing on their own. (See page 3)
