What is Hand Analysis?
Hand Analysis is a system and database developed by Richard Unger at the International Institute of Hand Analysis that studies aspects of the hand such as fingerprints and shapes of fingers and palms in addition to the patterns of lines on the hands.
Studying the fingerprints, the hand analyst can interpret the individual’s Life Purpose (what you came in to do, or be, in this lifetime) and the Life Lesson (what you came in to learn or fine tune in this lifetime in order to be able to achieve your Life Purpose).
The fingerprints provide the core of every interpretation and the rest of the information in the hands is the “supporting cast” to and will either enhance or challenge the main, core theme of a person’s life. The reason for that is that our hands change all the time. As we grow and evolve our hands change with us. The fingerprints, however, never change and that is why the core information is found there.
Our fingerprints were formed 16 weeks after conception and they never change throughout our lives! It’s as though we were imprinted with a unique coded message to take with us as we incarnated here on earth.
So, through a Hand Analysis reading, we can decode that message and discover our Soul Goal, the main theme or plot for our life here on earth.
How is ‘Hand Analysis’ different from ‘Palmistry?’
My very simple interpretation of the core difference between the two is that Palmistry is about what has happened to you in the past and what will happen in the future and deals with external forces. Hand Analysis concentrates on who you are as a person and who you are on a soul level, sort of a super-charged Personality, Ability and Challenge overview, and focuses on internal forces.
Actually, by combining the Palmistry and Hand Analysis, we can get some amazing insights into who we are, what we came to earth to do and also understanding about what has happened to us and why.
Do you have to be an intuitive or psychic to be able to do Hand Analysis?
No, not really. Anyone can learn the basics. Hand Analysis is very scientific, in fact I was drawn to it for that very reason. You must learn to read the codes, but once you master it, reading the patterns in the hands is like reading a newspaper. Of course, an intuitive or psychic reader will be able to add great depth to the reading. It is a wonderful add-on for those trained in Palmistry.
Some Hand Analysts give very cut and dried readings, based strictly on the data. I happen to be an intuitive hand reader, and I often receive intuitive messages for my clients during readings.
Hand Analysis is a great example of how science and mysticism are coming together in this century.
You’ve written a book, ‘The Art of Conscious Evolution.’ How does that fit in with Hand Analysis?
Conscious Evolution is a program I developed based on techniques I’ve used with my Life Coaching clients, my own spiritual journey and my training as a Hand Analyst. So often we get insight and information from a reading and then say, “ok now what do I do with it?”
The whole point of the Conscious Evolution program is to be able to take the information you’ve received from your readings and have a plan to be able to apply it so you can reach your highest potential in life.
A Hand Analysis reading will tell you about your Soul Goal, Life Purpose and Life Lesson. I usually recommend getting several other types of readings as well to look for patterns and common themes in the readings. Once you understand your Soul Goal, Life Purpose and Life Lesson, you gain a clearer picture of what I call your Life Process.
The steps in the Conscious Evolution formula help you to change your life so you will flow in your Life Process. And as long as you are in the PROCESS of what you came to do and learn, your life will flow, and that is what we all are seeking, isn’t it?
